“That was how half of me felt. Then the other half of me got my feelings hurt and got angry and started listening to Kelly Clarkson.” —Heather, on relationships with men. It’s always important to have a sense of humor.

Only the POTUS, the groundskeepers, and Professor Emeriti allowed on this grass! And no red wine! Or coffee!

White wine is cool, though. And no sports. Except for croquet!

Work rage.

Ugh. I was in a half-day induced state of zen. Then terrible co-worker asked to borrow my laptop and projector for a meeting, which is fine, but really? Be prepared.

THEN. After the meeting, she comes by my office and says, “Oh, your laptop and the projector are in the conference room. You can go pack them up.”

What the actual fuck?!

Everybody's Free To Wear Sunscreen Ameritz - Karaoke

neffsays:

Everybody’s Free, Baz Luhrmann

“If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it.  The long term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists, where as the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience. I will dispense this advice now.” -Baz Luhrmann

My name is Stephanie Burke and I am not ashamed to admit that I still listen to this at least once a week in the year 2012.

“Whatever you do, don’t congratulate yourself too much or berate yourself either. Your choices are half chance, so are everybody else’s.”

The second best thing Baz Luhrmann has done with his life—Only after the Red Curtain Trilogy (Strictly Ballroom, Romeo + Juliet, and Moulin Rouge).
